I have been in the foodservice industry my entire life, beginning in childhood when I worked at my parents’ ice cream shop and grocery store. Following my education at Kendall College, where I graduated with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, I worked at Chicken Shack in Evanston. When I was getting ready to settle down and have a family, I moved on to become a bank teller. After my maternity leave, I started working at Halo Company, a distributor of promotional products. I made my way from file clerk all the way to office manager. These experiences have given me a deep knowledge of customer service, business planning, and inventory control. Utilizing this knowledge and experience, I started Jennifer's Edibles Eating Company in the early 2000s, and by 2006, my catering services were a success.
